User Preferences on the App

We understand that as a property owner, you want to customize your experience with Cottage Companion to meet your specific needs. That's why we've made it easy for you to update your User Preferences on our app.

The user preferences let you choose which notifications you wish to receive and how you wish to receive the notifications.

Here's how you can do it:

1. From any menu in the app, locate the three lines in the top left corner. Give them a friendly tap.

2. In the menu that pops up, look for "User Preferences." Go ahead and select it.

3. The user preference page shows your currently selected preferences. If you select the record, you will be able to make updates. Take a moment to review the options and decide which ones you'd like to stay informed about.

4. As a property owner you can be notified when a work order reaches the following status:

   • Quote Provided

   • Scheduled

   • In Progress

   • Completed

   • Cancelled

   • You can also be notified when a Note is Added

5. When you've made your decision, click on either the "App Notification" or "Email Notification" option, depending on how you prefer to receive updates. Or why not choose both for maximum coverage?

6. Lastly, don't forget to save your changes! Locate the "Update" button and give it a gentle tap to make sure your new preferences are applied.

And there you have it! You've successfully updated your User Preferences on Cottage Companion.
